Who we are
A Hand Up Writing Framework™ is built on a simple belief: every student deserves to communicate their thinking with clarity, confidence, and pride. Founded by an experienced educator with a passion for inclusion and high expectations, our work is grounded in real classroom practice and designed to meet the needs of all learners.
We provide a structured, easy-to-implement approach to handwriting and numeral formation using gridded paper and clear techniques that create immediate, visible improvement. More than just penmanship, our scaffolded framework strengthens foundational skills that support literacy, organization, and overall academic success.
We partner with districts, schools, teachers, and families to empower every student with the handwriting skills needed for academic success. Our practical, effective, and accessible framework transforms handwriting instruction so learners can confidently demonstrate what they know and achieve their greatest potential.
